Aeris captures the smoke rising off a resting cigarette, which causes most of the lingering smell, and pushes it through a carbon filter and scent tablet. Exhale towards the tray and the vortex takes most of that too. It won't catch smoke you blow across the room, and no ashtray will.
How loud is it?
Under 30dB on standard mode. Your fridge hum is louder. You'll hear your TV, your call, your record player; you won't hear Aeris.
How long does the battery last?
Around 10 hours of active use per USB-C charge, which works out to roughly a week for most smokers. It also runs while plugged in.
